Podcast: Beauty in Knowledge

In my junior spring I took a course a class on producing podcasts. As a final project, we had to make a 10-12 minute podcast exploring any topic we wish. For my final podcast, I wanted to answer the question: does learning more about a subject take away from its beauty? This question has been with me for quite a while and has been touched on in another blog post, Beauty in Knowledge.

In this podcast, I interviewed three people across different fields and experience levels.

  1. Music - Matt Caren, MIT class of 2025. Matt interested in the integration of music and technology. To me, Matt is a music prodigy, something he would never admit.

  2. Comedy - Anusha Puri, MIT class of 2024. Anusha is an aspiring cancer researcher and academic. She is currently pursuing her PhD in cancer biology at Harvard. Anusha is the founder of Stand-Up CoMITy and an active comedian.

  3. Science - Professor Phil Harris, MIT Physics: Professor Harris is an experimental particle physicist with expertise in ultra-fast machine learning models for science.
