Dating Markets: How Capitalism Shapes the Search for Love in the 21st Century

For my final essay in the anthropology class “What is Capitalism?” (21A.461) I explored whether dating apps are well modeled by economic markets. This is a topic I’ve been interested in for quite a while, so I’m happy I had the opportunity to work on this topic, especially with the guidance of Professor Chris Walley.
